Students* must apply for a STUDY VISA in order to study and live in Italy. In order to come to Cattolica for a semester or a year as an Exchange student, your home institution must be a Cattolica partner, either within Europe ( List of EU Partner Institutions ) or outside ( List of NON-EU Partner Institutions ) or an ISEP member institution ( ISEP Network ). As an Exchange student, you can select the Italian-taught courses of UCSC University Academic Curriculum. The Orientation Event is a fundamental opportunity for students to get all the useful information they need for their stay in Milan and to meet other international students. Students receive a detailed programme by email one week before the Orientation Event on campus. Orientation events will either take place in Largo A. Gemelli, 1 (main campus) or in via Carducci, 28/30 (Cattolica International office building). During the orientation students will be informed on how to organize their course schedule, select courses, find classrooms, have access to campus facilities (cafeteria, library, health center and sport service etc).

Università Cattolica wishes to encourage students who have Italian together with any other citizenship to experience their Italian heritage by studying at Cattolica for a semester or year. Students can apply for the scholarship by simply uploading their Italian passport when completing the online application form. Students will need to fulfill all the requirements for the Study Abroad program in order to be eligible for the scholarship. Students can create their own Study Plan by selecting courses from either of the two curricula: Cattolica International Curriculum The duration of Cattolica International Curriculum courses is one semester. The International Curriculum courses are elective courses within the Facoltà di Scienze Linguistiche e Letterature Straniere. The Cattolica International Curriculum has been created specifically for international students only and courses are formulated to have an international teaching approach. The curriculum is managed by the Cattolica International department, and this means that it operates in a different way to the wider Cattolica Academic Curriculum.
