Students are required to attend class in-person.
Live-streamed classes are guaranteed only in case of quarantine or sickness. Students must inform professors in advance if they are in the condition of not being able to attend in-person classes.

UCSC International Curriculum classes follow specific policies that students must formally accept.
ADD DROP – NEW 2nd week!
In order to ADD a course, you need to reserve an appointment via TEAMS with the office and fill in the ADD form. Find here below the links.

WITHDRAWAL
You may still drop an International Curriculum class after the add/drop period has ended and before the deadline for withdrawal.
In this case, the decision will be considered a Withdrawal and there will be no grade penalty.
You will receive a "W" grade and 0 credits for the course on the final Transcript of Records.
Instructions and tips for course selection and registration
- Consult attentively the course list and schedule. Make sure that the schedule for each one of your course selections does not conflict with another.
- Courses have limited number of spaces and may be competitive. Places are assigned on a first-come first-served basis.
- Most classes meet twice a week for 1h30 each session, with the exception of: ZXQ011 Vitulli, ZXQ005 Catalani, ZXQ654 Vitulli, ZXP693 de Vargas Machuca, ZXP705 Paglia, ZXP704 Rinaldi A, ZXP704 Rinaldi B and ZXP696 Pagani.
- Courses cannot overlap.
Before accessing the online registration system prepare your course selection by making a list of the course codes.
Since some of the courses you've selected during enrolment may overlap, make sure to have a couple of alternates to choose from.
- Attendance is mandatory (exceptions may be made for students who, due to the pandemic, could only participate remotely and joining from an opposite time zone). Please read carefully the academic policies.

Read the outlines for each class, at the top of each outline you can find information on Method of instruction and Participation.
When building your schedule, pay close attention to the icons representing the delivery method for the course (eg. an in-person class that is immediately followed by an online only course could be problematic; you will either have to participate virtually on both sessions or find a location to connect to the online only course after you've participated to an in-person one).
- Erasmus + exchange student may only select ONE International Curriculum course.
- All students need to complete the International Curriculum online registration, even if they have already submitted a preliminary course list during enrolment.
- ZXP698 Bettinelli/Casagrande (Discovery of Italy), ZXP704 Rinaldi (The Fashion Market), ZXP709 Cannatelli (Strategic Management), ZXP694 Toccaceli (TV Advertising and Music) are running twice: there are course A and course B; students have to select just one course either course A or course B.
How to register
STEP 1.
Click on "Register here" in the ONLINE REGISTRATION section of the page. Remember that the online registration is managed on a first-come first-served basis.
STEP 2.
Enter your Cattolica account credentials.
STEP 3.
Once in the system, click on "UCSC International Curriculum online registration Spring 2022".
STEP 4.
Have your course codes ready, with alternates in case your preferred course is already full.
STEP 5.
Flag the codes corresponding to the courses you want to take. If the course code appears light grey it means that the course is already full (no more spots are available) and can no longer be selected.
STEP 6.
Click on "Salva" (Save).
STEP 7.
IMPORTANT: Click on "Stampa Ricevuta" (Print the confirmation of your selected options) to confirm your choices.
STEP 8.
Save the "Ricevuta scelte effettuate/Confirmation of selected options" on your computer or device.
Calendar
