Opening of the Nomination Period:
 
  • You will receive an email with instructions and deadlines from international.advisordd@unicatt.it at the beginning of March.
    Note: Please always update us if the contact details of the student advisor responsible for nominating students on your end change.


 

Nomination of Students:
 
  • When: First half of March (approximately from March 1 to March 15).
  • Nomination Instructions: Detailed instructions will be sent to you via email before the opening by international.advisordd@unicatt.it
    Note: Once you have completed the nomination of your students and associated the programme plan for the nominated student, their account will remain INACTIVE until Cattolica sends the application to the student.


 

Data Required for Each Student for Nomination:
 
  1. First Name (all names indicated in their passport)
  2. Last Name (all names indicated in their passport)
  3. Date of birth
  4. City and country of birth
  5. Email address (preferably personal if their institutional email might be cancelled at some point)
  6. Student’s phone number


 

Data to Add in the PROGRAMME PLAN Section:
 
  • Mobility period: select the study period as indicated in the agreement (1 Year, 2 Years, 1 Year + 1 semester)  
  • Programme type: select the corresponding programme type as required. You have two possibilities: DOUBLE DEGREE DIRECT (if we have a fee-paying agreement)
  • Academic year: select the corresponding academic year   
  • Campus: it will be automatically added, when you select the Corso Double Degree. You do not have to fill this part in.  
  • Corso double degree: Please indicate the program that your student will study at Cattolica (Bachelor or Master of science)  
  • Anno Corso Double degree: Please leave it blank, we will add this information for you.  
  • Start and end date: You can leave this space blank.   
  • Invoicing: Please select the option “Payment due from applicant”.


 

Sending Instructions for Completing the Application to Students:
 


 

Payment of the first installment/deposit:
 
  • Once the application is completed, students receive an email with instructions to complete the payment of the first installment/deposit (if indicated in the financial agreement signed between Cattolica and your institution).
    • The application will be considered complete only when students have paid the first installment/deposit.
    • Upon reception of the first installment/deposit, Cattolica will enroll the student. This process should be completed approximately by mid-May.


 

Italian Language Course (only for the Milan campus):
 
  • Students enrolling in programmes offered in Milan can select the Italian language course.  If they are intentioned in selecting it, this must happen before concluding the application.
  • Italian language courses will be considered extra courses, not part of the study plan students must complete to obtain the final diploma.
  • Costs: €400 for one Italian language course (either intensive or semester course) or €600 for both intensive and semester Italian language courses.  The payment will be required to conclude the application. 


 

Confirmation of Enrollment:
 
  • Upon enrollment, students receive their confirmation email and can download the Admission Letter from the Portal.
  • They also receive an email with instructions on how to pre-enroll on Universitaly, a mandatory step to obtain the visa. Universitaly is a portal that simplifies communication between students, universities, embassies, and consulates, facilitating the entire process from enrolment to visa applications.


 

Visa Application:
 
  • Cattolica validates the pre-enrollment on Universitaly, and the students receive a confirmation so that they can start the visa application process.
