English Language Requirement for 1-year Specialising Masters

Academic year 2026/2027

 

If you are applying to a 1-year Specialising Master (Master universitario) taught in English, you must show that   that your English level is at least B2.

You can prove your English level  by:

  • Submitting a language certificate issued on or after January 1, 2024:
    • TOEFL iBT: minimum score 84
    • IELTS Academic: minimum score 6.0
       
  • Taking an online interview with the Master admissions committee. Note: This option is not available for the Master in Corporate Communication and Branding.

You must upload the certificate at the time of application

 

 

Are there any cases where the English certificate is always compulsory?


Yes. Regardless of the language of instruction of your previous degree, if you are a non-Eu student who needs to apply for a study visa in Colombia, Iran, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, the language certificate is mandatory since embassies require it for visa purposes.

 

 

Who is exempt from this requirement?
 

You do not need to submit an English language certificate if :

  1. You completed your university degree in one of these countries:
    1. Australia, Canada (except Quebec), Ireland, Malta, New Zealand, South Africa, the United Kingdom, or the United States.
    2. You completed a degree fully taught in English in another country (EU or non-EU). In this case, you must upload an official document from your university confirming that the entire degree was taught in English.
