WiFi
Cattolica students and faculty members can access internet with their various devices (PC, cell phone, etc.) to the university’s WIFI network.
Students will be able to access the network using their iCatt access credentials.
Eduroam
Cattolica offers access to Eduroam (Education Roaming) for users who are affiliated to universities and research institutions in Europe, Canada, USA, Brazil, Peru, New Zealand, Kenya, Thailand, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
Eduroam is a secure way to access the university WIFI network. Students, academic and administrative staff who visit a participating institution are able to use the local network (WLAN) by using the same credentials (username and password) that they use are their own institution.
Eduroam access is therefore to be used only outside of the home institution.
Printing
The university has printers and copy machines in various locations on campus that allow students to print from a dedicated online portal or directly from a USB pen drive/key, and photocopy documents. Printing jobs may be sent from personal devices or from any of the public computers available on campus and in campus computer rooms. Additionally, students can scan documents and have them sent directly to their e-mail address (iCatt e-mail address).
First step: students login to the online portal https://selfprint.unicatt.it by using their personal iCatt/Blackboard credentials and charge funds to their account. Your payment options are:
- Personal credit card, online through the portal https://selfprint.unicatt.it;
- Paypal, online through the portal https://selfprint.unicatt.it;
- Cash at the Ufficio Fotoriproduzioni (Copy Office located in Gemelli building)
Once funds are charged to the account, the available credit balance displayed on the online portal: https://selfprint.unicatt.it.
The first time students use the service at one of the copy/print machines, they will be asked to register in order to associate their student ID card to their account. They will only need to do this once and will have to wait about 15 minutes for the process to be completed. They will then be able to launch their copy/print/scan by simply activating the printer/photocopy machine by using their student ID card.
