Academic calendar
The academic year is divided into two semesters:
- Semester 1: from October to January;
- Semester 2: from March to June.
The Medical Curriculum is composed of several courses (divided into different subjects), with lectures and practical classes held over a semester.
Examinations
Examinationstake place 3-4 weeks after the end of each course.
Three examination sessions are held during the year:
- February (1st period courses)
- June-July (1st and 2nd period courses)
- September (2nd period courses).
Holidays
- March or April (Easter Vacations – one week)
- April 25th (Liberation Anniversary)
- May 1st (Labour Day)
- June 2nd (Italian Republic Day)
- November 1 (All Saints Day)
- December 8 (Immaculate Conception)
- December 15 (Christmas Holy Mass for University Students)
- December 23 - January 6 (Christmas Vacations – two weeks)
