Course details

This full-time, 1-year programme combines technical and business training to prepare students for data-driven careers. The curriculum includes core courses, coding labs, real-world case studies, and a final internship or project. Active attendance is mandatory. A minimum of 80% attendance is required. 

 

Preparatory Courses

These courses help all students start with the same foundation, regardless of their background: 

  • Management (2 ECTS) 
  • Statistics (3 ECTS) 

 

Core Courses

  • Data Management and Warehousing (4 ECTS) 

Learn how to design and manage a data warehouse. Focus areas include data extraction, cleaning, transformation, and quality control. 

  • Software development and coding with Python (5 ECTS) 

Gain coding skills in Python through theory and hands-on labs. Learn to automate tasks and analyze business data. 

  • Statistics and the R Software (6 ECTS) 

Study statistical inference and multivariate analysis using real data. Learn the basics of R for data processing and analysis. 

  • Management for Digital Enterprise (7 ECTS) 

Understand how digital businesses work. Explore how data, digital marketing, and CRM shape customer experiences and strategy. 

  • Data Visualization with R and SAS (4 ECTS) 

Explore techniques to visualize data using libraries in R (ggplot, dplyr) and SAS. Apply these skills to real economic and financial datasets. 

  • Data and Text Mining (5 ECTS) 

Learn how to extract insights from large datasets and text sources. Practice classification, clustering, and web data extraction. 

  • Statistical Learning for Data Science (6 ECTS) 

Get an introduction to machine learning, including regression, classification, clustering, and knowledge graphs. 

  • Business Intelligence and Data Analytics (5 ECTS) 

Use data to support business decisions. Focus on segmentation, scoring models, and database marketing strategies. 

 

Internship and Final Project

In the final four months, students either: 

  • Complete an internship with a company and write a thesis based on that experience, or 
  • Write a project-based thesis under faculty supervision. 

Both options help students apply what they've learned and build real-world experience.
