We are proud to announce the launch of With an Accent, a brand-new podcast from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.

The podcast gives voice to our international students, who share their experiences of studying and living in Italy. Through their stories, listeners are invited to discover what it means to move abroad: from expectations and homesickness to new friendships, unfamiliar flavours, and the everyday challenges of adapting to a new culture.

Each episode captures a journey from feeling out of place to finding one’s rhythm, from uncertainty to belonging — all told, quite literally, with an accent.

The podcast is hosted by Mateo Medina Abad, a Colombian student in his second year of the Master’s in Communication for Business, Media and Culture. With his thoughtful questions and warm tone, Mateo guides the conversation through moments of humour, curiosity, and genuine discovery.
