The International Business Management programme is a 3-year bachelor’s degree taught in English at Università Cattolica’s Piacenza campus. It prepares students to work in international companies or build a global career. You will study business, economics, law, and data analysis, while also developing key soft skills such as teamwork, digital innovation, and leadership.

The programme includes real-world projects and a mandatory internship. You will be exposed to modules with an industry of excellence focus through the “Vertical track”. Students can take part in international exchange programmes and apply for a Double Degree pathway. This allows you to study at a partner university abroad and graduate with two recognised qualifications.

Thanks to these opportunities, you will gain the skills to understand how global businesses work and how to manage them in a responsible and successful way.

What makes this programme unique?

The International Business Management programme offers a truly international study path. A key feature is the optional Double Degree in International Business Management, available to selected students based on academic performance and motivation.

This unique opportunity allows you to:

  • Spend the first two years at Università Cattolica’s Piacenza campus
  • Complete two additional years at a partner university abroad in France, Germany, Spain, the USA, or Mexico
  • Graduate with two recognised qualifications: Thanks to the unique structure of the Italian system, you will graduate with two recognised degrees from Università Cattolica:
    • Laurea Triennale in Economia Aziendale
    • Master universitario di primo livello (M-MINT)

This four-year track develops strong international skills, improves your foreign language ability, and prepares you to work in multicultural teams.

Not all students will follow the Double Degree path — it is selective and not mandatory. Students who do not participate can still complete the full three-year programme in Piacenza and take part in other international exchange opportunities.

Other distinctive features of the programme include:

  • Fully taught in English
  • Focus on global business skills
  • Real-world learning through business labs, group projects, and a 10 ECTS internship
  • Industry specialisation through the “Vertical” track
  • Small class sizes and supportive teaching environment
  • Development of soft skills, including digital innovation, teamwork, and leadership
  • Whether you choose the regular track or the Double Degree path, this programme will help you build a strong foundation for a global business career.
