Learning objectives
This degree programme is designed to help students build the following key skills:
- In-depth examination of the foundational psychological disciplines, with particular emphasis on their application to food consumer behaviour, lifestyle choices, and sustainable practices.
- Development of multidisciplinary skills, including competencies across nutrition, production, environmental studies, economics, and sociology.
- Enhancement of these competencies, such as designing and implementing research programmes focused on the behavioural analysis of individuals, groups, communities, and organisations in relation to food, health, and sustainability.
A distinctive feature of the degree is its integrated perspective on psycho-social and contextual processes that shape and influence behavioural choices of individuals and their communities. This approach, guided by the One Health framework, places special focus on food consumption, health-related behaviours, and practices promoting sustainability.
