To enrol in a Laurea magistrale you must satisfy the requirements based on the latest admission guidelines published by the Italian Ministry of Education which apply to all students with foreign qualifications, regardless of nationality.

This applies to qualifications awarded both in European Union (EU) countries and non-EU countries.

1. You must hold a high school diploma.
2. The undergraduate degree must:
   1. be an official first-cycle qualification from the relevant foreign higher education system, obtained by 31 July 2025;
   2. be issued by a higher education institution that is duly accredited or recognized in the awarding country. If your studies were completed in a third country, the institution must be accredited or recognized in the country where it operates;
   3. qualify you for entry to a comparable second-cycle programme in the relevant foreign higher education system, in a field related to the programme you are applying for;
   4. correspond to the Italian qualification required for entry to a "laurea magistrale," in terms of academic nature, research elements, programme duration, and total ECTS (minimum 3 years and 180 ECTS), as well as total years of schooling (usually 15 years).

Our university will determine the suitability of your academic degree for admission to a "laurea magistrale." Each university sets its own criteria and regulations (including the required documentation) for admission and enrolment in a study programme.

Admission is based on the evaluation of the academic documents submitted with the application, while enrolment is subject to verification of the validity of the qualification obtained.

For a preliminary self-assessment of your qualification, we recommend referring to the ARDI database, which contains information on the requirements for admission to Italian universities. ARDI includes information on most national qualifications, but if your qualification is not listed in the database, we encourage you to contact us if you have any doubts about its validity.

You must satisfy the English language requirement at the time of application and upload the proficiency certificate/proof in the online application. If the results are not included or do not meet the required level, your application will be considered unsuccessful and there will be no opportunity to re-submit them for a second evaluation.

You need to hold an undergraduate degree in Information Engineering, Economics, Computer science, Mathematics, Statistics, or another degree in related subjects with at least 36 ECTS in a larger pool of subjects such as Informatics, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, of which at least 12 ECTS in Mathematics, Informatics and at least 12 ECTS in Statistics and related subjects.
