Bachelor of Economics and Management (2026/27): Cattolica Admission Test Guide for International Applicants
Do I Need to Take the Cattolica Admission Test?
When you apply to the Bachelor of Economics and Management, our Admissions Team will review your application. If you must take the Cattolica Admission Test, you will receive an email notification.
You must then log into the Online Application Portal and confirm whether you:
- Accept to take the test
- Refuse, and withdraw your application
Passing this test is equivalent to passing the Foundation Knowledge Assessment test (VPI).
How to Register for the Admission Test
- Wait for Email Invitation: If you accept the offer, you will receive an activation email from IAM_noreply@unicatt.it for the Portale Iscrizioni (check your spam/junk folder).
Already have a Portale Iscrizioni account? Share your username with: international.admissions@unicatt.it
- Log in to Portale Iscrizioni and click ENTER on your application.
- Upload These Documents:
- Passport (non-EU) or national ID (EU)
- Photo
- Italian Fiscal Code (if available)
- Permit of stay (for non-EU citizens living in Italy)
- English language certificate with the minimum required level (see Entry Requirements)
- Choose your test date and time from the available options.
- Pay the non-refundable fee of €60.00. If you retake the test, the fee must be paid again
Your test registration is complete only when your application status changes to: "Pending admission test result".
Once registered for the test, your application cannot be reviewed based on school grades or SAT/ACT scores.
Test Format and Timeline
- Online test delivered in English
- Choose your preferred test date and time (limited slots per session)
- Duration: 60 minutes
- Total Questions: 48, divided into 4 sections:
- 12 Logic
- 12 Mathematics
- 12 Reading comprehension & general knowledge
- 12 English

Scoring and Pass Criteria
Each answer is scored as follows:
- Correct answer: +1,5 points
- Wrong answer: - 0,21 points
- No answer: 0 points
To pass the test, you must :
- Score at least 19 points, and
- Get minimum correct answers:
- Logic: 6
- Reading Comprehension: 6
- English: 6
- Maths: 4
If you score between 4 and 6 in Maths, you must take an Additional Training Obligation (OFA) math course and pass the final test within your first year. Failure to pass results in a "ripetente" status.

Your admission offer will include:
- Conditions for enrollment
- Annual tuition and university fees
- Deadline to confirm your place by paying the first installment of fees
If your result is negative, you may retake the test in the next session (if places remain). Applications will not be reviewed based on high school grades or SAT/ACT scores.
Accessibility for Students with Disabilities or SLD
If you have a disability or specific learning disorder (SLD) upload the relevant certificate in Portale Iscrizioni under the dedicated section by the test registration deadlines.
Email the Disability and Dyslexia Services (DDS) in case of doubts.
Late submissions of the form will not be considered.
