The annual tuition fee is calculated on the basis of the financial background of the student’s family (n° of family members and nature/amount of yearly income) and the cost of the chosen degree program. A student may pay from a minimum of about € 3600 (for lower family incomes and cheaper courses) to a maximum of about € 9300 (for higher family incomes and more expensive courses) per year.

A flat tuition fee is applied to international students residing outside the European Union and associated states. The full tuition fee amount is € 8690 per year.
Candidates can request the “UCSC International Scholarship” while filling out the online application. The UCSC International Scholarship is an annual tuition fee reduction promoted by Università Cattolica in order to foster the access of international student to the degree programs. The discount covers about 30% of the total cost. Applicants are notified of the award by email when they receive an offer for admission. The annual tuition fee applicable to undergraduate students who receive the UCSC International Scholarship is € 5900.
This scholarship is automatically extended from year to year for the normal duration of the degree program. Successful candidates must maintain full-time enrolment status in order to finish their degrees on time. Should the candidate be unable to graduate on the expected date, all additional costs will be at the student’s expense.
Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, as part of its mission to foster relationships with developing countries, has designed the Cattolica Africa Scholars Program for students from the African continent.
In case students receive other forms of financial aid (scholarships and accommodation offered by EDUCatt), the UCSC International Scholarship will not be awarded.

Università Cattolica – Agricultural and Food Economics scholarship (Intake A.Y. 2021/22)
Università Cattolica’s Faculty of Agricultural, food and environmental sciences is offering 4 scholarships to talented graduates with a strong interest in analyzing and responding to the challenges of the agri-food sector.
Successful applicants (Non-EU residents only) who are awarded the scholarship will have the yearly tuition fee of €8,690 reduced to €4,400 for the 2-year duration of the degree.
How to apply:
Applicants interested in being considered for Università Cattolica - Agricultural and Food Economics graduate programme need to include the dedicated motivation letter when submitting the application form.
N.B. For African residents: the Agricultural and Food Economics scholarship is an alternative to the UCSC International scholarship combined with the Africa Scholars Programme.
For the academic year 2021/22 the deadlines are:
- The first installment always amounts to € 1.470, to be paid upon admission
- Second installment due by 30 January 2022
- Third installment due by 28 February 2022
- Fourth installment due by 29 April 2022
- Fifth instalment due by 30 May 2022
Instalments cannot be paid by bank transfer. They have to be paid by a payment slip downloadable from iCatt (students' personal webpage after enrolment) and payable online by credit card.
