How to apply once your University has nominated you

Once Cattolica has received the nomination from your home University, you can complete your application through the Cattolica enrolment portal.


Follow the instructions for the application process on this page.

  1. Activate your account by clicking the link in the ‘no-reply’ email that was sent to you when Cattolica processed the nomination. Set a password.
  2. Once you have activated your account, you can enter the student enrolment portal: https://iscrizioni.unicatt.it/iscrizioni
  3. Read all the information below to ensure you complete the application correctly.

Deadline to complete the application: 

  • For the Fall semester: 15 April
  • For the Spring semester: 15 November
  • Select English or Italian at the top right of the page.
  • Click the yellow ENTER button at the left of the page and complete the fields.
    All students must consent to the terms and conditions by checking the box, even if all points are not strictly applicable to their individual conditions.
  • Please check that your data is correct and complete the missing parts of your personal data (Nationality and residence data).
  • Press SAVE.
Please upload the required documents listed below.
 

Required documents:

  • Passport sized photo to be used on your Cattolica Student Card. Photo must be a head shot, not a group photo.
  • Identity document. Non-EU students must upload a scan of their Passport. EU students who use their ID cards must send a scan of the FRONT and BACK.
  • Special needs formPlease note: the Special Needs form must be completed, even if you believe it is not applicable to you. If you require academic accommodations (e.g extra time in exams) please also provide a medical assessment.
  • Transcript of records of the courses you have already completed at your home university.*

*Unofficial transcripts are accepted if students are regularly enrolled at a  partner institution. Università Cattolica reserves the right to request an official document if students intend to take graduate level courses.


Optional documents:

  • Permit of stay
  • Fiscal Code
  • Language Proficiency for Italiancompulsory if you are planning on taking courses in Italian at Cattolica.
  • Language proficiency for English: if English is not your first language, or not the primary language of instruction at your current home university, you must provide evidence of B2 or equivalent English language proficiency or above.
This section refers to the courses you can select at Cattolica.

Read the instructions carefully at the beginning of each page! The course selection depends on which campus you will be attending.

Before selecting courses at Cattolica, please consult your home university advisors to make sure they will be accepted when you return.

The following FOUR pages are dedicated to course selection. Different types of courses are available to select on each page. Please read ALL 4 PAGES and read the instructions on the page carefully.

Page 1. Cattolica International Curriculum (Milan campus ONLY). 
To select courses from the Cattolica International Curriculum: 

  • Click the yellow “UPLOAD” button (with a plus sign) on the top right
  • Type the course code and then click on SEARCH. You can also insert the Language.
  • If you don’t know the course code, you can leave all the fields empty and click SEARCH.
  • When the list of courses appears, if you click on the magnifying glass at the top right of the page you can type the title of the course or at least one keyword.
  • Check the white box at the left of the Course code to select and then click save.

Click ‘Continue’ to select courses from the other 3 pages for Course Selection.

If you do not intend to take International Curriculum courses, you can skip this page by clicking on Continue at bottom right.

Page 2. Italian language course (Milan campus ONLY).
If you wish to take Italian Language Courses, you must select the course(s) at this stage. If you do not wish to take Italian Language Courses, press Continue at bottom right. 

NOTE: If it is your intention to take this course you MUST select it now. Once the application is closed you will not be able to modify your choice.

Page 3. Experiential Learning opportunities (Milan campus ONLY).
You can select the different options here. If you do not wish to take Experiential Learning opportunities, press Continue at bottom right.

Page 4. Cattolica Academic Curriculum.
You can select courses from this curriculum after checking the academic offer from this curriculum by reading the section on section Courses and Programme dates.
For Academic Curriculum courses, find the courses available using the ECTS catalogue. To add courses from the Academic Curriculum, in the application portal see below:

  • Click the yellow “UPLOAD” button (with a plus sign)
  • Type the course code and then click on SEARCH. You can also insert the Language.
  • If you don’t know the course code, you can leave all the fields empty and click SEARCH.
  • If you click on the magnifying glass at the top right of the page you can type the title of the course or at least one keyword.
  • Check the white box at the left of the Course code to select and then click save.
    Click ‘continue’.

Once you have added all your courses and clicked on continue, the system will show you the full list of your selected courses. 

IMPORTANT: any changes to your course selection must be made before proceeding.

YOU CAN NOT GO BACK AND CHANGE YOUR SELECTION ONCE YOU PRESS CONTINUE.

Make sure to read the conditions of enrolment carefully.
 
In order to proceed you must accept the conditions by ticking the box “I expressly agree”.
Note: The Learning disabilities box does not apply to international students, you can ignore. 

Accept the conditions of enrolment and click on PAGOPA, then follow the instructions below, as is written on the application portal:
If you have a bank account abroad and a credit card of the circuits Visa or Mastercard, choose PAGA PIU’ TARDI (Pay later), download the payment notice ‘PAGOPA’ by clicking on STAMPA BOLLETTINO. A document will open up, listing the payment information. Now enter in Scrigno Pago facile and pay, following the guidance below.

Once on the SCRIGNOPAGOFACILE website you can select English language and click on “Anonymous access”. On the next page select PAGOPA and then enter the following information that is found at the bottom of the document under the section ‘BANCHE ALTRI CANALI’.

  1. CODICE AVVISO
  2. Cod. Fiscale Ente Creditore (fiscal code of the University)
  3. Flag the field ‘I accept’ and click on NEXT to confirm the payment.

You can save and download the receipt of payment.

You must complete the payment in one session: if the payment attempt gets interrupted, you must wait 24 hours before you are allowed to try again.

The Cattolica International Staff will evaluate your application and will contact you via email if further information or different documentation is needed.
  
If the international staff asks you for further documents, you should re-enter the enrolment portal to upload them. When you log in, click on the document icon in the white box on the left.
 
Once all of your documents have been reviewed and accepted, the International staff will enrol you and you will receive an email inviting you to re-enter the Enrolment Portal and download your Admission Letters. Your admission letters, also known as your acceptance /invitation letters are found on the screen as you enter your application. You must press ‘PRINT’ and this will enable you to download the letters.
