During your stay This page is dedicated to incoming exchange/study abroad students who are arriving to Cattolica’s Milan campus. Permit of Stay All non-EU students who enter Italy with a study VISA must apply for the Permit of Stay. The Campus: Map Università Cattolica has various buildings in the city centre of Milan. Remember that the iCatt app has a map functionality which shows you how to reach your allocated buildings! On the main campus, Largo Gemelli there is a bank, bar, cafeteria, book store, library and medical centre, and more. The University Cafeterias (mensa) Via Necchi 9 In this mensa you can enjoy a full lunch, a light lunch and even visit the pizza counter, where large slices of pizza and French fries are available for your enjoyment. How to use this mensa : Load money onto your student ID at the machine outside the mensa doors.

Winter programmes - Nomination procedure for providers STEP 1 Cattolica must register one staff from your organization. Please provide via email to international.advisor@unicatt.it the relevant information pertaining to your staff who will be following the registration/application process for students applying to Cattolica. STEP 3 Click on NOMINATE STEP 4 For each student, insert the following mandatory information: Name of Home University (find a list in the drop down menu),* Name, Surname, Sex, Date of birth, Place of birth, birth continent and birth territory, personal email (twice) and phone number . STEP 5 Click on NEXT Student contact data will be registered once this image will be displayed: STEP 6 Click on the CLOSE button, and you will see a summary of the student’s data. The system will ask you to insert the following information: Campus : select the Cattolica campus where your student is going to be enrolled in Academic year : select the corresponding academic year (for the Winter 2021 select a.y. Mobility period : select the corresponding time your student is planning to study with us (Winter 2021) Programme type : select from the drop down menu corresponding to the framework of mobility. Invoicing : select Payment due from Partner University/Provider: Cattolica will issue a request of payment to the Provider which will correspond to the amount due on the student’s behalf.

Nomination procedure for Partner Universities - If you have already registered as a contact person from a Partner university: Proceed to the STEPS below. If you have not yet registered as a contact person from a Partner university: Access this link and complete the registration of one of your staff members* responsible for outbound mobility. Once your staff account registration is confirmed by Cattolica, the registered staff member will receive an email. The registered staff member will be asked to ACTIVATE the account and select a personal password. STEP 6 Click on the NEW button STEP 7 The system will ask you to insert the following information: Campus: select the desired Cattolica campus Academic year : select the corresponding academic year as the example shows. Mobility period : select the study period Programme type : select the corresponding programme type as required. To nominate further students, return to the Account page by pressing the blue arrow and press NOMINATE.

On campus/ In Italy: As an enrolled student at Cattolica, you are by default enrolled in a medical and health insurance ( AXA Partners Italia ). This is an additional health insurance and personal liability coverage that is complementary to your home university international health coverage we recommend you to enrol in prior to your arrival in Italy. The AXA Partners Italia coverage is only activated for the exact duration of your programme at Cattolica , it does not cover any travel dates to Italy before the start of the programme, or any travel that you may do after the end of your programme. POLICIES Confirmation of acceptance by Friday 4 March 2022 UCSC International Curriculum classes follow specific policies that students must formally accept. Book your appointment here to add a course (The link will be active from Friday 25 February at 2.30 pm until Sunday 27 February at 11.59pm) Complete the ADD form before the appointment Complete the DROP form if you want to drop a course WITHDRAWAL By Wednesday 27 April 2022. Most classes meet twice a week for 1h30 each session, with the exception of: ZXQ011 Vitulli, ZXQ005 Catalani, ZXQ654 Vitulli, ZXP693 de Vargas Machuca, ZXP705 Paglia, ZXP704 Rinaldi A, ZXP704 Rinaldi B and ZXP696 Pagani. Before accessing the online registration system prepare your course selection by making a list of the course codes. All students need to complete the International Curriculum online registration, even if they have already submitted a preliminary course list during enrolment. On the main campus, Largo Gemelli there is a bank, bar, cafeteria, book store, library and medical centre, and more. The Curricula International students who come to Cattolica to study for one semester or the full academic year have the opportunity to choose courses from two curricula. Online registration takes place two months before the beginning of the semester, and students who pre-selected courses from the International Curriculum in the application process will be reminded via email about the Online Registration. The Cattolica Academic Curriculum is made up of all of the courses available from various degree programmes across the entire university. Transcript of Records All incoming exchange students who spend their exchange study period at Cattolica are provided with instructions on how to confirm the end of their studies at Cattolica and ‘close their career’ on their iCatt page.
