Università Cattolica organises an Italian Language Course, designed for students who want to learn, study and explore the Italian language. The language course is not compulsory but highly recommended.

Course Information - Course Description

Pre-session intensive course (44 hours - 6 ECTS - Course code: ZXP719)

Held at the beginning of each semester.

Fall 2024 dates:
September 2 - 13, 2024

Spring 2025 dates:
February 10 – 21, 2025

Intensive course general schedule:
From Monday to Friday, In the mornings plus two afternoon lessons per week.

Semester course (44 units - 6 ECTS - Course code: ZXP720)

This course will run alongside all other courses.

Fall 2024 dates:
Starting on September 23, 2024

Spring 2025 dates:
Starting on March 3, 2025

Semester course general schedule:
Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday (from 18.30 to 19.50).

Pre-session intensive + Semester course 88 units - 12 ECTS

Withdrawal and Reimbursement Read

If, for any reason a course is cancelled or if a student withdraws their enrolment to Cattolica, the student will be reimbursed.

Registration

If a student wishes to partake in the Italian language course, they MUST register during the enrolment process.

If this option is skipped there is no way to join after.

If you wish to take the Pre-session Intensive Italian language course you must attend the FIRST orientation event

If you are taking classes from the Banking and Finance Faculty you can NOT take the Pre-session Intensive Italian language course.

After registration, all the students must take an online placement and an online oral interview in order to place them in the most suitable course. It is mandatory they take the placement test even if they have never studied Italian.
