Italian language course

 
Università Cattolica welcomes hundreds of International Students to its Milan campus within the scope of international mobility projects, and to promote internationalization. Cattolica International organizes an Italian Language Course, designed for students who want to learn, study and explore the Italian language. The language course is not compulsory but highly recommended.

Pre-session intensive course (44 hours - 6 ECTS - Course code: ZXP719)

Held at the beginning of each semester.
 

Fall 2025 dates:
September 1 - 12, 2025

Spring 2026 dates:
February 9 - 20, 2026

Intensive course general schedule:
From Monday to Friday, In the mornings plus two afternoon lessons per week.

Semester course (44 units - 6 ECTS - Course code: ZXP720)

This course will run alongside all other courses.

Starting on September 22, 2025

Spring 2026 dates:
Starting on March 2, 2026

Semester course general schedule:
Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday (from 18.30 to 19.50).

If a student wishes to partake in the Italian language course, they MUST register during the enrolment process. 
If this option is skipped there is no way to join after.

If you wish to take the Pre-session Intensive Italian language course you must attend the FIRST orientation event.

If you are taking classes from the Banking and Finance Faculty you can NOT take the Pre-session Intensive Italian language course.

After registration, all the students must take an online placement test and an online oral interview in order to place them in the most suitable course. It is mandatory they take the placement test even if they have never studied Italian.
